Hayes has designed the XC Series to optimize performance in cross-country and urban riding applications. This series utilizes a 114-gram, 6-inch rotor, combining lightweight components with Hayes' proven, all-conditions performance.
The new HFX-Mag Plus is part of the XC series, and is our high end hydraulic brake system that features an ultralite titanium hardware kit, 6-inch rotor, the new 'G2' aluminum caliper, and a Carbon Fiber lever blade to make our this lightest hydraulic brake system. The HFX-Mag Plus uses the unique "Flip-Flop" design, which allows the master cylinder to be mounted to either side of the bar.
