This XC specific bar is made from a cold drawn, seamless, butted Air Alloy aluminum tube shot peened for increased fatigue life. The butting material puts extra material in critical ""high impact"" areas, creating the optimal strength to weight ratio for an aluminum bar. Please note that bar end reinforcement plugs are necessary when using bar ends.
