Sealed titanium freehub body that's compatible with 8 and 9-speed cassettes, ultralight alloy hubshell, and titanium axle spinning on high-precision stainless steel bearings and Borozon-treated bearing races. Special Disc-compatible version features splined rotor mount for XTR Center Lock disc rotors (note: not compatible with standard 6-bolt disc rotors). Bearings are sealed from the elements with double contact seals that are virtually impenetrable by water, mud, or dust. Includes lightweight Q/R skewer.
