The ES70's splined crank interface provides a large contact area between crank and bottom bracket. The result is a super-efficient drivetrain that you'll really appreciate on tough climbs and the starting line. Plus, Shimano's sealed unit provides years of trouble-free service. Note: the spline pattern on the ES70 bottom-bracket spindle is compatible only with splined Shimano Deore, Deore LX and Deore XT cranks.
