Light, powerful, one finger braking. Articulated brake pads, fewer pivots and the simple design makes this a functional and powerful brake. As always the forged aluminum arms look as beautiful as they are light. The FVA design reduces boss movement and ensures more energy reaches the rim. Together with the Accu-Push articulated pads, the high performance Rim Wrangler 2 cartridge pads allows you to stop on a dime.
Relatively lightweight and powerful. To achieve maximum power, dependable control and even pad wear, the brake pad must contact the rim squarely. Using just 3 pivot points, Avid's unique Accu-Push pivoting arch maintains that ideal pad-rim relationship to deliver crisp, on-demand braking.
Using fewer pivot points provide a simpler design that allows the rider to peacefully co-exist with nature. Of course if you ride in bear country maybe a little squealing isn't such a bad thing.
