American Classic Seatposts feature a time proven design that is still a classic, and one of the easiest seatposts to setup and adjust on the market today.
The patented clamping mechanism solidly clamps the saddle to the post. Tilt the saddle up and down, fore and aft with the micro adjustable clamp; all this with no ratcheting. The micro adjust and clamping bolts are easy to reach without removing the saddle.
Our latest two piece design features our patented, extremely popular, micro adjustable clamping mechanism, as in our Classic one piece posts.
The latest design features in this post include a thicker 8mm spherical head clamping bolt for strength, and to limit overtightening. The cradle plate is now a forging, rather than an extrusion, and the head is redesigned to make it stronger without adding weight. The mountain version of the two piece post is a full 60 grams lighter!
