Hollow Core Design: The Elite B-52 Stem uses a unique ""Hollow Core"" design that removes un-needed material from the center or ""Core"" of the stem (removing weight) and leaves the crucial structural material around the outside of the stem that gives the B-52 it's torsional strength. The KORE B-52 is the first ""CNC"" stem available with this unique ""Hollow Core"" Design.
Four Bolt Removable Front Clamp Design: The B-52 uses a four bolt front clamp design. A four bolt front clamp has incredible clamping power for the increased leverage of DH rise bars and is twice as durable and reliable than two bolt stems. The B-52 uses 4130 chromoly ""round head"" bolts throughout for strength, reliability, and safety.
One Piece CNC with Knee-Saver Design:The Elite B-52 is made from a single piece of ""Billet"" 6061 aluminum alloy. This feature makes the B-52 an extremely stiff and durable stem, perfect for the demands of down hill mountain bike racing. Like all KORE stems, we have incorporated our patented ""Knee Saver"" two bolt rear clamp design into the B-52. This proven design is safer in the event that the rider collides his/her knee into the back of the stem, and the two bolt design is stronger and more reliable than all other ""CAM"" or internal pinch bolt designs.
