* Knob pattern is designed to roll smoothly, with good continuity between knob groups; accomplished with a smaller, effective gap between the diagonal center knobs, and it means less buzz, less knob bounce as the tire rolls, and decent mud clearance
* Diagonal knobs have large shear areas for traction and the central paddles are well supported to reduce squirm and excessive wear when the tire is under a load on hard packed terrain
* Edge knobs are stiff to provide good off-camber handling characteristics
* Designed for rear wheel use
