Bebop deluxe pedals are the lightest (175 grams per pair) and the strongest pedals around. everybody else uses titanium spindles on their high zoot models, then tells you not to ride 'em hard or gives you weight limits. we found a better way: our exclusive Aero-S steel. Aero-S is steel on steroids. twice as strong as cromoly, twice as stiff as titanium, it allows us to actually make the spindle completely hollow. our Aero-S spindles are 35 grams per pair lighter than our cromoly spindles and at least twice as stiff as any titanium spindle.
Bebop's 11mm stack height is among the lowest for all road pedals, and significantly lower (by nearly 1/2 inch) than virtually all spd-type pedal systems.
Float:Bebops have 20 degrees. Bebops rotate around the centerline of the spindle, and thus around the ball of your foot. Bebops allow you twist out to either side.
