MULTI TENSOR SPRING TENSION ADJUSTMENT
All Look pedals feature the Multi Tensor. This means that every pedal has adjustable spring tension, which allows you to adjust how loose or tight your pedal retention plate is. Each pedal possesses a varying spring-tension range. Less expensive pedals have a lighter spring-tension range, and more expensive pedals have a tighter spring-tension range. The Multi Tensor is adjusted by turning a single allen bolt on the pedal.
Q-FACTOR PEDAL/SPINDLE ADJUSTMENT
This is the distance from the center of the pedal platform to the surface of the crank arm. Adjustable Q-Factor can help you achieve proper biomechanical alignment. Once aligned, it is possible to increase overall pedaling efficiency. (CX-6 and CX-7 only).
FREE ARC
Free Arc is an adjustable float feature that can be found on the CX 6Ti, CX6, and A5.1. This dial can adjust float range from 0 degrees (fixed) to 3, 6, or 9 degrees.
SEAT ANGLE
The seat angle refers to the "cant" of the pedal. adjustment shims of 0 degrees, ±1.5 degrees, and ± 3 degrees are furnished and can help to address pronation and supination problems. By addressing pronation and supination, efficiency and alignment may be improved. (CX-7 only).
DELTA CLEAT SYSTEM
The Delta Cleat System was the first clipless cleat system. It's been proven reliable and provides a large, stable platform, which helps to reduce hot spots and pressure points. The larger platform also helps to distribute pressure and improve efficiency. The Red Delta Cleats allow for 9 degrees of float in all non Free Arc pedals, and can adjust from 0, to 3, 6, or 9 degrees on all Free Arc pedals. Black Delta Cleats can only be used on non Free Arc pedals, and provide a fixed, no float position.
